Short Communications
A Short Communication is a report of a recent and original work in Differential Geometry or related fields, which is presented orally with the support of slides.
All prospective presenters must be registered for the XXII EGD before submitting their application.
The information below is provided to give individuals an understanding of format and requirements.
Important Dates:
March 1, 2026: Submission Deadline.
March 28, 2026: Notification of Acceptance.
July 10, 2026: Final Version of Short Communication Slides Due.
Short Communications Details
Preparing to Submit, the Scientific Committee requires all interested presenters to adhere to the following submission guidelines:
Titles should contain a maximum of 150 letters, preferably without mathematical formulas;
The extended abstract should be limited to a maximum of two pages, including references and figures.
Only 1 (one) work per main author is allowed;
Submissions should be written in the English language;
Works not written in English may be rejected by the Committee in case of difficulty in finding reviewers fluent in other languages.
Presentation Length & Format
Each session will consist of a 25-minute presentation followed by 05 minutes for questions and discussions. Time limits will be strictly enforced. Presentation materials must be in electronic format.

Language
English;
Title;
Must be identical to that approved by the XXII EGD Scientific Committee;
Slides should be prepared in standard (4:3) format;
Use font sizes of 18 pt or larger;
Slides should contain a maximum 10–12 lines of text per page.
Submitting Final Presentations
The final version of the selected presentations must be sent to the XXII EGD email address: xxiiegd@gmail.com.
Publication
Abstracts of all approved short communications will be published in the electronic Book of Abstracts and will be made available to all participants.
Short Communications Certificate
Short Communications certificates will be made available to participants who have attended the school and presented a short communication at the conclusion of the school;
The title included in the certificate will be the same as in the abstract submission.
